Good driving habits help ensure that tires and vehicles are in good working condition. Here are some tips for prolonging the service life of tires:
1. Don't overspeed. Excessive speed will increase the flexion of tires, cause excessive heat, accelerate tire wear and shorten service life.
2. While driving, we should try our best to avoid sudden acceleration, braking and steering, which will do harm not only to the mechanical properties of automobiles, but also to the life of tires. Abnormal driving such as repeated rapid acceleration, braking and steering can cause sharp deformation of tire, unbalanced wear of tire crown, longitudinal groove tear, temperature rise inside tire, therefore, tire will burst easily.
3. Do not overload according to the prescribed maximum load. The service life of the tire depends largely on the load. The service life of the tire will be reduced to 50% of the normal life if there is 20% of regular overload. Overload also increases tire temperature and pressure, increases fatigue of rubber and cord, and easily causes delamination.
4. Avoid pits or obstacles on the road.
5. Avoid hitting curbstone. Don't park across curbstone.
